    Just wrote a check to World Vision after selling the original painting, “Stories.” Sad to see it go, but glad someone else will be thoroughly enjoying it and extremely glad to help others in need. Looks like I may have one or two more originals sold by the first week of 2010. Great way to start the New Year!

    …yeh, I completely understand about the uneasiness (i.e., fantods) of calling oneself an “artist” or a “starving artist.” It’s just a place where I’ve been throughout 2009 for a number of reasons, but in my heart I couldn’t let circumstances deter me from doing what I do by helping others in need.
